This blog came about because my husband won an argument. It doesn't happen often. So he likes to remind me of it when he gets a chance. Could you argue with that face?
I haven't been baking long. As a matter of fact, my mom swore I would grow up and only know how to fix tuna fish and crackers. Don't knock it till you tried it.
I grew up in Tennessee so I know the value of good sweet tea. I lived in Florida for almost 8 years and only got a sun burn twice. You can tell I am not a beach person. In 2012, my family moved to North Carolina. And we can't wait to explore the area. We have new bakeries to try and farmers markets to navigate through.
I went through 2 quarters of culinary school, but it just wasn't for me. Now I bake when I can and supply my husband's coworkers with their weekly sugar rush.
